Rob Spampinato is the Owner/Founder of Rob’s School of Music and has been an active, professional musician for the past 22 years. He’s a graduate of Ramapo College of New Jersey with a BA in music.
Rob has toured the country both with his bands and as a hired gun. He is an Amazon Best Seller with is book "This Book Shreds" and have over 122k subscribers on YouTube. He performs 3-5 nights a week and teaches guitar, drums, bass, piano, and vocals at Rob’s School of Music.
All teachers at Rob’s School of Music are college-educated musicians with numerous years touring, recording, and teaching, but our biggest asset is that each one of them is a great person.
All our teachers are well vetted before coming on with us. They must be patient, warm, charismatic, and, most importantly, flexible. Every member of our team understands that it isn’t about how they want to teach the material; it’s about how the student can learn it.
Our teachers are specialists in different skill sets, so if a student wants a more traditional, theory-based lesson, we have a teacher for that. Whether your child wants to learn metal guitar, piano, ukulele, drums, vocals, we have a teacher for them!

Each student at Rob’s School of Music receives completely individualized musical training—we don’t do “one size fits all” or “cookie-cutter” programs—because every student has unique goals, and everyone learns differently.
In fact, the only thing that is the same for every student is our dedication to providing the best possible musical education, no matter the student’s age, experience, or ability level!
Our tuition is structured on a month-to-month payment plan of $200.00 for weekly half-hour lessons.
Lessons are either in person at our School in Suffern, NY, or virtually via Zoom and our virtual classes are every bit as focused and beneficial as our in-person lessons—and our students can testify to that fact.
